Low self esteem, confidence and self worth
Self-esteem and self-confidence, self-image issues, reflects the way a person values him/herself, the mental image one has about him/herself. It is the inner relationship we have with ourselves as individuals; a healthy, supportive childhood develops a healthy relation to/with self.
Trauma, mobbing, crisis situations, loss, bereavement alter this relationship. The earlier in life such situations appear, the more damaging they are. In many cases the person becomes his/her worst critic or enemy.
I work with self-image issues in an integrative way, always trying to find the reason and the approximate time when self-image deterioration occurred. Each client, each situation, each life–path is unique, that’s why a good understanding of the situation is so important.
The next step is the awareness of inner thoughts and the specific tools I support the client with, in order to monitor and re-evaluate the specific situations. I support my clients all the way during the process of building up a positive and strong self-esteem.
